About
Michael Moss is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Budget and Financial Analysis – he oversees the Office of Budget & Financial Analysis as well as the Office of Institutional Research. He has been with the University since 2003, and has served in various roles that encompass budgeting, reporting, analysis, cost accounting, and compliance. Michael holds a Master's in Public Administration (Financial Management concentration) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Recent projects include Co-Chairing the Budget Model Redesign Task Force, serving as a Workgroup Member under the Illinois Commission on Equitable Public University Funding, Co-Chairing the HLC Criterion 5 team as a part of UIC’s reaccreditation process, and leading a transparency initiative focused on providing online Dashboard access to a broad array of institutional data.
